Aligning With the Holy Spirit

"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."

 - Joel 2:28 (NKJV)

When God wants to bring forth a possibility, the initial action is always through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit moves, stirs, and activates something within us. This divine stirring is the precursor to what God is about to do. The Holy Spirit not only prompts us but also empowers us to speak or see something in alignment with God's will.

This pattern is very clear in the opening verse; an outpouring of the Holy Spirit leads to prophetic declarations and visions—both of which are necessary steps before God manifests His wonders.

As the Holy Spirit moves, He prompts us to speak words of faith, to declare God’s promises, and to see visions of what God intends to do. Our role is to respond in faith, speaking what we have been prompted to say or sharing the vision that we have been given. As we do this, the Holy Spirit goes to work, turning those words and visions into reality.

When God wants to bring forth a possibility, the initial action is always through the Holy Spirit.

This process is confirmed in Isaiah 34:16, where it is written, “Search from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them." The Spirit of God brings to fruition the words that have been spoken by the mouth of God. This is the divine order of things—God speaks, the Spirit moves, and then the wonders are performed.

If God has made a promise or placed a dream on your heart, know that the Holy Spirit is at work to bring it to pass. If He has stirred something within you, if He has given you a vision or a word, it is only a matter of time before that possibility becomes a reality.

Prayer - Today, align yourself with the Holy Spirit’s leading. Speak the words of faith He gives you, hold onto the visions He reveals, and trust that He will bring forth the wonders that turn impossibilities into possibilities. May you leave this moment with the confidence that God is making all things possible through His Spirit, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
