Breaking The Limits of Denial

Life will not necessarily give you what you deserve; instead, it will give you what you negotiate for. To break the law of denial, you must be ready to negotiate for your destiny. Everybody in life will be confronted with limitations, and there are limits that are placed on us without us having any cause for it, just like in the case of the daughters of Zelophehad. There will also be limits that may be placed because of things not favoring us and things that seek to stop us from fulfilling what God has planned for us. Until we get tired of those situations and are ready to ask for a change, we will remain there. It is extremely important that we take destiny into our hands and do everything possible to break the limits of denial.

You can see this in the main text for today. The laws of Israel stated that if a man dies without a son, his inheritance is to be passed on to the family. These five ladies came to Moses, Eliezer the Priest, and the elders at the Tabernacle of Meeting with determination to claim what was rightfully theirs. They came to where they could meet and encounter God. In life, you must be prepared to claim what is rightfully yours, or you will remain deprived.

These women broke with convention because, according to the Levitical law, women were expected to stay at the rear of the Tabernacle of Meeting. Sometimes society might try to relegate you to the back of the line or the back of the room, but the Bible records that these five courageous women boldly stood before the elders and the priest to plead their case. Regardless of the challenges or pain you may be facing, you must be willing to plead your case and seek God earnestly. These women defied all opposition and every limitation placed upon them.

You will not be denied.

This is why one of the purposes of prayer is to position us to present our case before God. Through prayer, we can make spiritual legal arguments and challenge the laws that govern our situations. These women knew they didn't deserve to suffer because of their father's death, and they recognized that they didn't have to pay this price. They chose to exempt themselves from this burden and pursue their breakthrough. They came to Moses and made a demand. We, too, must be prepared to make demands and challenge the restrictions imposed on our families, careers, businesses, health, and every aspect of our lives.

When we make demands of God, He responds by opening doors on our behalf. Doors of favor, employment, marriage, breakthrough, children, increase, and expansion swing open as His power goes before us. We gain access to government, industry, the economy, and every place we go.

The Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace and ask for mercy in our time of inheritance. Thus, we receive mercy, and the doors that have limited our destiny begin to open for us. It doesn't matter where we come from because as born-again believers, we are connected to the blessings of Abraham. God instructed Moses to change the law, so it doesn't matter what laws may have governed your family; you are about to get married, prosper, own property, and change those laws.

You are a pioneer and a pathfinder, God’s favor goes ahead of you, and causes laws to be changed in your favor because you decided to press in demand your inheritance.

You are a line crosser, stepping into new territories and going to new heights. You will not be denied. Walk with boldness into everything God has promised you. Declare right now and change the laws of your family.

Prayer -  Heavenly Father, I pray for the courage to challenge limitations and seek Your favor. Just as the daughters of Zelophehad pursued their rightful inheritance, I ask for Your guidance, mercy, and breakthrough. Let me boldly claim what You have promised, believing that You go ahead of me, changing laws in my favor. Amen.
