Have you ever considered the power behind calling out someone’s name? Think about it for a moment. When you call out a friend's name, they respond, right? Imagine, for example, you are walking across the street and you see someone you recognize and call out his (or her) name…”Hi Brian”. What does Brian do? Brian responds and says “hi” to you. It's similar when we call upon the name of Jesus – He responds. This is one of the ways to unleash the force of faith: by calling upon the name of Jesus!
In Acts 3:6, instead of giving money to a man born lame, Peter gave him something more powerful: the name of Jesus. He said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
Here lies a crucial concept: as believers, we possess the name of Jesus, a spiritual treasure that we can use in faith to address stagnant situations or undesired trajectories in our lives. The name "Jesus" is unparalleled in power, and there is no other name by which salvation, healing, miracles, and deliverance can occur (Acts 4:12).
Keep this in mind—no human being performs miracles; it is God who works through us when we have faith in the name of Jesus. In Acts 3:16, Peter clarifies that the healing of the lame man was not due to their own power or godliness but resulted from faith in the name of Jesus. We must have faith that when we call upon the name of Jesus, whatever we ask, He will do it (John 14:14). Philippians 2:9-11 also reminds us that God has exalted Jesus and given Him a name above all names.
As believers, we possess the name of Jesus, a spiritual treasure that we can use in faith to address stagnant situations or undesired trajectories in our lives.
In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus promises that signs, miracles, deliverance, and restoration will follow those who believe in His name. The condition is believing in His name. To activate the force of faith, let us call upon the name of the Lord Jesus in faith and with the honor it truly deserves. When we do, we will witness the force of faith in action, turning stagnant situations and undesired trajectories in our lives around.
As we embrace the power of calling upon the name of Jesus in faith and honor, let us remember that our prayers and requests are met with divine response. This force of faith in The Name goes forth overcoming challenges and leading to experiences of God's miraculous hand in our lives.

Prayer - Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of faith and the powerful name of Jesus. Help me to recognize the significance of His name and to use it with reverence and faith. Strengthen my belief that, when I call upon His name, You are attentive to my needs and ready to work miracles in our lives. May the force of faith be evident as I honor Your name.
