“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
-1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
As Christians, we share in the victory of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Jesus is our greatest assurance that no matter how dire the circumstances, we are never truly down and out. Just as Jesus rose from the grave, we too can rise above our challenges.
Friday may come with its sorrows, and Saturday may prolong our waiting, but Sunday, the day of resurrection, always arrives. The enemy might celebrate your downfall prematurely, but remember, Easter signifies that victory is assured.
Jesus’ resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith. It proves that God has the final word over sin, death, and all the powers of darkness. No matter how tough your situation is, know that resurrection power is at work within you. Just as Jesus waited from Friday to Sunday, sometimes our answers come in God’s perfect timing. Trust in Him during the waiting period, for your Sunday is on the horizon.
Jesus' resurrection means we can face tomorrow with hope and confidence.
As believers in Christ, we are after the order of Christ. Our identity is in Him, and therefore, we should never count ourselves out, no matter the circumstances. Our worth and victory are secured in Jesus. When we face trials, we can stand firm in the truth that we are victorious because of Him. We are not defined by our failures but by His triumph.
Because Jesus lives, we have a living hope. The empty grave is a constant reminder that our present struggles are temporary, and victory is inevitable. Never count a Christian out. Never count yourself out. Our hope and victory are anchored in the risen Christ. No matter the trials we face, we can declare with confidence that because He lives, we can face tomorrow.
