Have you ever experienced working with a computer system that would not just respond to any input? The more you press the keyboard, the more it seems the level of unresponsiveness increases. In most instances, such state would have to be resolved either by a restart or what we call a ‘reset’ within the context of today’s devotional.
For mobile phones, sometimes it means returning to the default plan or what is generally called ‘factory reset’. According to the dictionary interpretation, to reset means to adjust, or fix in a new or different way. Just like the analogy of the computer system given above, it means something is already going in an undesirable trajectory and we really need that matter to go in the right direction.
Accepting the prophetic intervention becomes the enabler to being set in the right direction and divine acceleration.
Undoubtedly, everyone has that one thing that is either not going in the intended right direction, or is going in the right direction but not at the right pace. Knowing that the prophetic is needed in your life is pivotal to being reset. Accepting the prophetic intervention becomes the enabler to being set in the right direction and divine acceleration. In Ezekiel 37, we see an impossible situation of dry bones or what we can call a dead situation. In verse 3 of that chapter, the bones were referred to as very dry. Yet, the Lord said prophesy to these bones, and they will come alive. The prophetic can reset a dead situation and turn it around for your good.
In Ezekiel 37:11, the House of Israel was described as hopeless, dead, finished, lost hope, dry bones and in some translations; completely cut off. Yet, through the power of the prophetic declarations, the dry bones rose again and became flesh.
No matter what the challenge is, no matter what you are going through, the power of God can reset that matter and bring you into a place of rest. God is never late, even when it seems you have passed the deadline, or the biological time is all over. Help is coming your way. Only believe. The prophetic words you have received and believed is giving life to the dry bones. Situations are turning around in your favour this day in Jesus name.
