“And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple”
- Acts 3:2 (NKJV)
Faith is not passive; it is an active, supernatural force that brings transformation in both the physical and spiritual realms. As believers, we are called to operate in faith to see God’s promises fulfilled in our lives. The force of faith is powerful enough to move mountains, conquer challenges, and change the trajectory of our lives.
Long-standing issues can be disheartening and draining. They persist for years, testing the limits of your patience, faith, and hope. The lame man in Acts 3 had been in his condition from birth—over 40 years of being carried and laid daily at the gate called Beautiful. Yet, despite his prolonged suffering, his encounter with the force of faith brought about a miraculous change in an instant.
If you’ve faced a problem for years—whether it’s a health issue, financial lack, or emotional pain—you need the force of faith. Like the lame man who had been crippled for decades, long-standing problems require a supernatural force to break through barriers of time and stagnation. Faith is that force.
No matter how long your challenge has persisted, the force of faith can bring about change.
Why? Because faith redefines what is possible. What seems irreversible in the natural realm is no match for God’s power. When you’ve waited for years without seeing results, discouragement can set in. Yet, the lame man’s healing teaches us that it’s never too late for God to intervene. Faith allows us to trust in His timing and power, knowing He can turn things around suddenly, no matter how long the wait has been.
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) defines faith as the "substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith takes what is unseen and brings it into reality, rewriting your story. Long-standing problems often feel like cycles that can’t be broken. But faith introduces the supernatural power of God needed to end those patterns and create a new beginning.
As we see in Acts 3, it was Peter’s declaration of faith that activated the man’s healing. Faith bridges the gap between God’s power and your needs. No matter how long your challenge has persisted, the force of faith can bring about change. Just as the lame man’s 40-year condition was reversed in a moment, so too can your situation be transformed when faith is applied.
Let the force of faith rewrite your story today! are for us. Trust that God is with us every step of the way. This is our season to shine!
