But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1 Cor 2:9-10
Yesterday, we explored the pivotal role of the renewal of the mind in transforming us into beings of dominion in God. That was the first principle. Today we explore the second one—praying and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
In John 14:26, we read a powerful promise of the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26 NIV)
To demonstrate dominion, we need to be inviting the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us and give us understanding. It takes a lot of practice and conscious effort to renew our mind, but we can ask the Holy Spirit to help us.
But beyond this, the Spirit also empowers us in a critical aspect—our prayers. Romans 8:26 TPT says
“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises within us to super-intercede on our behalf”.
There are things the Spirit knows that are beyond our own comprehension. After all, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God Himself! When we partner with the Holy Spirit in prayer, the Holy Spirit helps us align our prayers with the will of God and empowers us to demonstrate dominion in our lives. Without the Holy Spirit, we would be grasping in the dark, not taking full advantage of what God has set before us.
And to take this further, Rom 8:26 tells us that The Spirit even prays on our behalf. What a gift that is!
For us to live a life of the fullness of our dominion in God, the ministry of The Holy Spirit is indispensable! Cherish this gift, desire it earnestly. Invite the Spirit of God into your prayers to lead and intercede for you and through you. And as you make this a regular practice, setting time aside for Spirit-led prayers, you will experience more and more manifestations of dominion in your life.

Prayer - We boldly declare all of God’s promises over our lives. We speak the life and truth of God over our circumstances. Empower us by The Holy Spirit to exercise dominion in every area of our lives, in Jesus Mighty Name we pray. So, it is and so shall it be in Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen
