"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.’’

- Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Have you ever faced hesitation at an intersection, unsure whether to turn right or left? One part of you might urge a left turn, while another insists that right is the way to go. This internal struggle mirrors the conflict within us when opposing forces vie for our will. The mind is a battlefield where the stakes are high. Each choice leads us further down a path, often with no return.

In this spiritual battle, we must navigate wisely. Understanding the gravity of our decisions is crucial, as they can impact not just our lives but also generations to come.

"For the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the desire of the Spirit opposes the sinful nature; for these two are in direct opposition to each other, so that you do not always do whatever good things you want to do." - Galatians 5:17 (AMP).

This passage illustrates that the flesh constantly seeks to fulfill its sinful desires. As believers, we cannot afford to act on impulse without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Embarking on life's journey without His wisdom is a perilous venture. The Spirit knows the end from the beginning, and we are far better off with His counsel than trying to navigate alone.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Given the barrage of conflicting thoughts, it’s essential to renew our minds daily through the Word of God. As we know, engagement is key in any battle. No one goes to war and then sleeps on the sidelines. We must not allow our minds to drift into the dictates of the flesh, as these thoughts will shape the course of our lives.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." - Proverbs 4:23 (NIV).

Seek fellowship with others of like faith, drawing strength and encouragement from one another as you face life's challenges. As you step into the day, remember the scripture in Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) which says, "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."

Let these truths guide your thoughts and actions, steering you toward the path of righteousness.

  Song of Worship

I'm a new creation

I'm a brand new man

Old things are passed away

I am born again

More than a conqueror

That's who I am

I'm a new creation

I'm a brand new man

Song I’m a New Creation by David Ingles

Prayer -  Jesus, I accept your Lordship over my life, my thoughts, my mind and my decisions. I ask that the Holy Spirit lead and guide every decision and step that I make from this day forward. Amen
