“Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.” – Exo. 12:13 NKJV
Dear New Covenant Assembly (NCA) Family,
This is a follow-up to the latest communication released on September 15, 2021 by Alberta Health Services (AHS) per ongoing COVID19 pandemic. Please take note of the following as stated below:
AHS Public Recommendations Applicable to NCA:
-
There is a mandatory restriction of the church capacity to 1/3 fire code occupancy.
-
Masks are now mandatory.
-
Mandatory 2 meters physical distancing between households, or 2 close contacts for those living alone.
Personal Hygiene Habits Applicable in NCA:
-
Proper hand washing protocols: The most effective way to prevent the spread of the virus is to wash our hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
-
Use alcohol-based hand sanitizers frequently.
-
Sneeze into your elbow or tissue, rather than into the air or your hands.
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, face and mouth, with hands.
Implications of AHS Recommendations on NCA Worship Services from Friday September 17, 2021:
-
Youth Church and Children Church Services will move back online immediately.
-
Main Church Services (Fridays & Sundays) will continue but with 1/3 fire-code capacity.
-
Online registration at www.newcovenantassembly.ca resumes Thursday September 16 at 9am. This allows us to ensure we stick to the 1/3 fire-code limit. You need to book a slot online at our website before you can come in physically for Church service.
-
Friday services at 7pm and Sunday services at 9am will both continue.
-
All our Church services on Friday & Sunday will continue to be streamed live on our Youtube channel, Facebook page and our church website.
-
We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated as new recommendations are released.
Finally, as you know, we do not give in to fear. “Fear has torment” – 1 John 4:18. Rather we remain confident in God’s protection over us according to His Word! Remember, by the blood of Jesus & our faith in God, we have access to “exemption & protection” privileges!
Signed:
NCA Pastorate.
